As someone who visited Chamarel, I’d definitely recommend going in the morning to catch the best colors. The sunlight is softer and hits the Seven Colored Earths at the right angle, making the layers of red, brown, violet, blue, green, and yellow stand out more vividly. By late afternoon, the colors tend to look a bit muted, especially if clouds roll in. Plus, it’s less crowded earlier in the day, so you get a more peaceful experience.
